Spiney hails from St. Paul’s Bristol. Originally influenced by sound system culture they first started to buy vinyl whilst living in Jamaica. They then became a pioneering DJ in Bristol's Garage & Grime scenes, going to record shops such as Rhythm Division and bringing back exclusive presses. These influences in combination with their long-lasting love of Soulful House has resulted in a distinctive style which has been heard all across the UK.
