Following on from ‘Pink Shells’, which marked his debut release through Rinse, Bristol’s Fonzo now lands the second punch with ‘UNO’. Within the track, Fonzo exercises his chameleon-like ability to shift the sound’s shape at his command, seamlessly blending together elements of dubstep, four-to-the-floor and breakbeat, resulting in a truly unique body of sound. Weighty subs are then partnered with hypnotic, chopped vocals and infectious instrumentation to create an almost psychedelic soundscape. Through ‘UNO’ Fonzo presents yet another boundary-breaking track, sure to set the soundsystem alight.
