Culture, his work channels the pulse of the underground—melding club, techno, house,
and everything in between into a sound that’s entirely his own. His music speaks across
genres and scenes, with support from names like Bicep, Sherelle, Yaeji, Mall Grab,
Acemo, and DJ Swisha, and over 240,000 plays across his projects. Amal’s production
credits include standout work for DC rapper Wifigawd, with a project that earned a 7.7
review on Pitchfork, and recent scoring work for global brand Asics, further cementing
his range and creative reach. His music has received radio play on BBC Radio and
earned critical acclaim, with Black Rave Culture’s releases landing on DJ Mag’s Top
Albums of 2022. On stage, Amal brings that same energy—raw, soulful, and locked
in—holding space alongside legends like Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, and DJ Gantman, and
lighting up crowds at Boiler Room, Dweller, Movement, and ADE. His latest project
Dance Concept 2 marks another step in the evolution, building toward his debut solo
album dropping in 2025.
