Freaks & Geeks are one of the most exciting acts to burst onto the drum & bass scene. In a little over their first 2 years, they’ve amassed over 50 million streams and played to tens of thousands at festivals across Europe.

Led by their huge collaboration with Emily Makis ‘Elemental’, the British duo have also collaborated with Flowdan, Lee Mvtthews, and Ruth Royall. Freaks & Geeks have developed their unique sound and honed a rare ability to craft songs for the dance-floor.

Freaks & Geeks launched at the end of 2020 and are made up of electronic power duo Shaun Brockhurst and Phil Desborough, known to some as Doctor P and one half of Roksonix. Freaks & Geeks first crossed paths in 2010 in the offices of prestigious bass label Circus Records, where label co-founder Doctor P would release hits such as ‘Sweet Shop’ and where Roksonix would cut their teeth releasing the likes of ‘Music in Me’. Having separately achieved massive success in the field of electronic music, performing across the globe at events like EDC, Glastonbury, Tomorroworld and Pukkelpop, Phil and Shaun have already started taking that pedigree and experience to some huge events. In 2023 alone they brought their unique flavour to Rampage, Beats for Love, Mardi Gras NZ, Sundown and so many more, as well as being given a residency with London tastemaker station Kool FM.

Like many of their age, both Phil and Shaun grew up listening to drum & bass, with artists like Ed Rush and Optical, Dillinja and Shy FX being some of their favourites. Starting out as drum & bass fans and eventually developing into producers and DJs in the field themselves, they rode the second wave of drum & bass, forming part of that burgeoning scene when Pendulum, Noisia, Chase & Status and Sub Focus were re-writing the rule book. There is little surprise that the drum & bass sounds of their formative years form the root of the Freaks & Geeks flavour, combining with other influences to create their unique brand of vocal-driven, high energy drum & bass.

Now masters of their craft, Freaks & Geeks have already caught the eye of many incredible record labels, working with the likes of Elevate, UKF, Rampage, Deadbeats and the aforementioned Circus Records. Returning to their roots and working relentlessly on new music, Freaks & Geeks unleash their sound to the world!
