Gifta is a Drum and Bass DJ and producer based in London. She is inspired by the energetic and aggressive side of the genre; sitting between techy, neuro rollers and skatty minimal influences. Her production is recognised through her tight, rolling drum work and hard hitting basses, bringing the dynamic energy she enjoys to the forefront of her sound. She's coined it 'Skatimal'. The same vibes are replicated in her DJ sets and mixes. In the summer of 2020, she founded her own record label 'Phase Records DNB' which has quickly established itself as a well loved label on the underground circuit and even got itself a nomination for 'Best Newcomer Label' at the DNB Arena Awards. Having caught the eye of Hospital Records when she won their business development scheme in 2023, the sky is the limit for this emerging talent.
