Tribilin Sound (Álvaro Ernesto) is a Peruvian DJ and producer currently based in California, known for blending traditional Latin American sounds with contemporary electronic music. Active since the mid-2000s, he began his career releasing deep-tech house while spinning cumbia and chicha at local events in Lima. Over time, he developed a unique style that merges folkloric rhythms like festejo and chicha with modern beats, fitting within the digital cumbia genre.
His innovative approach has led him to release music on influential labels such as Terror Negro (Peru), Folcore (Spain), and Regional (Chile), as well as participate in the global tropical bass scene. A key figure in Lima’s underground electronic movement, Tribilin Sound continues to explore new sonic territories, contributing to the evolution of global bass music. His work pays homage to Peru’s rich musical heritage while pushing its sounds into the future.
