James Hiraeth and Robbie Jay lock palms to present their debut collaboration, through ‘Stay A Little Longer’ via Kool, the first single of Hiraeth’s forthcoming project on the label. Having started production at the age of 12, Hiraeth’s razor-sharp production acts as bedrock for Robbie’s emotive vocal work to glide, as the synergy of the two artists comes to the fore. Between them, the duo create a soundscape that is both lyrically and emotionally heartfelt, yet one that bears a bold character through Hiraeth’s blending of gut-hurdling bass, hissing hi-hats and masterful instrumentation.
