Disaffected

Landing their debut release via Rinse, Bristol based duo Disaffected present a razor-sharp double headed single, through ‘Finals’ and ‘Ptolemais’. Within both tracks, the producers showcase their unique prowess for creating a euphoria-ladened, highly atmospheric soundscape. ‘Finals’ sees a dreamlike vocal intelligently manipulated above hissing instrumentation and gut-hurdling bass; something that is then echoed in ‘Ptolemais’, where the vocal is chopped above break-neck percussion and a weighty bassline. Through this release, Disaffected present an atomic introduction to their unity-seeking world of sound.
